Belle’s POV

“Are you sure Audrey can be alone in a room with my uncle?” Zeke asked, handing me a drink.

“Yeah, she’ll be fine,” I said. I couldn’t look Zeke in the eyes because of what had happened to us.

“It appears that something happened last night that I am unaware of... So, how about us?” Zeke asked, looking in the opposite direction.

“We? We’re still friends,” I replied with a smile.
