Chapter 16. Burning for Her
Annalise steered clear of the living room and ran down the corridor towards the backdoor with Nelson hot on her heels. She ran out of the house knowing that the scowling Nelson surely was up to something and she didn’t want any audience. She raced outside and onto the grassy meadows as fast as her legs were bound to carry her, but two large hands caught her waist from behind and she lost her balance.
