Chapter 74
Blanket
"Hessuel, are you sick or horny?"
"You haven't changed your clothes yet. We're dead if we both catch a cold."
"I can handle this unlike you, you're weaker than ever," I insisted. He was clamping his hand yet too weak to stop me. In the kitchen, I prepared a bowl of water and a towel to sponge bath him again. I sat beside him, pulled the table closer wherein the bowl was laid, and wiped his face first. He's acting stubbornly by pushing my hands away.
"Stop... wasting your time. It's futile."
"It worked last night. It will work again." Then I persist in wiping him. He clings to my wrists instead.
"My father created this weak body. Nothing can make me feel bet—" He coughs dryly.
"Even just this instance, let me take care of you!"
"..." He finally surrenders his grip and lets me be, silently.
I patch the wet towel on his neck, then to his shoulders to absorb the heat. It tickles him when I slip my hand under his cloth to bath
