Chapter 49. Enemy on the Road

Vincent’s POV

We left at dawn due to the reason that we still have to drive for hours before reaching the docks. Just enough time before sunrise, then we can start sailing back to the Langstone lands. I left Alex and a few of the warriors to help Alpha Xander on keeping his warriors trained and strong. This will also keep his enemies away, knowing that the Great Alpha King is protecting him until his pack is strong enough to be left alone.

“Keep your eyes on the road Calib.”

Maleficus instructed with a dim shadow on his face. I look at him and took a deep breath in as we drive ahead of the van which is used by my six other warriors. There are only three of us in the Ford Expedition and we both feel the danger lurking somewhere on the long roads.
