Two o’clock in the afternoon.

Jonathan arrived punctually at the CAB club, where a staff member led him to Jacob’s office.

The other man had been waiting for quite some time.

Jacob smiled and stood up to greet him, extending a hand and saying: “Please, have a seat!”

Jonathan responded with a beaming smile: “Of course, not a problem.”

Jonathan stared intently at Jacob while Jacob glared back at him angrily. Their eyes locked, neither willing to back down or show any sign of weakness.
