I remembered how lonely and sad I felt that I was trying to sneak out of my own home. Tears started to stream down my cheeks. For a very short period of time I had imagined that the moon Goddess had been kind to me, and that I could probably find love with a king. I couldn’t believe it when Gerard told me that I was his true mate.

How is it possible that the moon goddess had paired me with the same man that had killed Elric and destroyed my home?
