Chapter 86. Whispers

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to interrupt their fun unnecessarily so I decided to look around and see if I would spot any lady in the small crowd. After searching and searching I didn’t see anything interesting. I finally decided to give up and search elsewhere. Just as we turned to leave I heard a faint whimper. I turned back and walked to the cliff. I tried to find out where the sound had come from but I didn’t see anything. I heard the whimper again and was certain someone else was here. I closed my eyes and tried look for Aurora’s scent.

It was there.

I heard the whimper again and this time around I was able to trace it. It was coming from underneath the cliff. She was right under me.
