Chapter 37. A Glimpse of the Past

The splashing of waterfalls filled Tamara's ears, but the vast cloudy fog made it difficult for her to see her way.

‘Where am I?’ Tamara thought as her eyes moved around the place. It was so dark, and the thick fog wasn’t helping her at all. It was making her head pound a little bit painful inside.

“Hello?” She loudly called, but her sweet voice just echoed throughout the whole place.

Her heart was beating so loudly inside her chest like it was all suffocating her entire system.

“Is anybody here? Hello?!” She called once again, but like the first time, it just echoed like she was in the middle of nowhere.

Chill started to run to her veins that made her feel the goosebumps in her skin. Her eyes moistened as if she’d been attacked by pure panic and nervousness. Her legs started to wobble, and she let out a breathy sigh to stop herself from shaking.

What if someone attacks her here again?

What if she had been captured by someone?
