She was waiting for Shahara to speak the words that might haunt her forever. She was hopeful that all of this wasn’t true, yet devastated at the same time, for she knew that it was the reality which she needed to face.

Shahara swallowed hard as she let out a defeated sigh. She knew that no matter how she evaded this thing from happening, but she also knew that it would eventually come out. And it would have been for the better if it came from her instead.
