Seris’s POV
The moon hung low and full, casting its silvery light across the restless ocean. Each wave broke with a soft roar, spray glinting in the pale sheen. I lifted my gaze to the sky, watching a squadron of seagulls wheel overhead, their wings catching the moonlight as they cried into the night. A gentle breeze wandered along the shore, brushing against my skin and tangling in my long, blonde locs.
