“What? Are you sure about that?” Alexa asked, her eyes full of concern.

The patrolling guards of Vaughnorths tower brought a report that Drakoen and his army are marching towards Vaughnorths. The news caused a sense of dread to settle in the pit of her stomach. This was no surprise. They had been expecting something like this to happen but still, their surprise couldn't be dispelled. Alexa felt a chill run down her spine. 

“Yes. It's confirmed, Headmistress,” the guard said, his voice laced with urgency. 

“Oh, dear. So he is finally on the move, huh?” Isadora had the same worried look on her face as she digested the news.
