Swords clashed against each other, sending a shocking tidal wave that made the ground beneath them split and ripples through the barrier, trying to break it. Luckily, it was strong and could endure the explosive impact if sustained. The outside space was safe because the barrier or else it would have been destroyed by the monstrous force of Mercedes and Drakoen's fight. Mercedes moved like gliding water and twisting in the air, skillfully thrusting her sword against Drakoen. Each movement left a trail of silver arcs and her sword was able to cut through Drakoen's shadows and sliced his shoulder and dragged the sword down. Drakoen roared and unleashed shadows to break him away from Mercedes.
