Chapter 174

While Felix and Alexa were caught up in their emotions, crying over Mercedes, a soft glow started to emanate from her body. Everyone froze, not sure what was happening. The light grew brighter by the second. Felix was shocked, but he wouldn't let go of Mercedes's hand. He wasn't going to leave her no matter what happened.

Alexa could sense it. That light glowing from Mercedes was the energy of the White Wolves left in her. When they found her, she couldn't sense it at all. She thought that she used it all up in the fight.

The air began to change again. The light started shining even brighter, blindingly, and it was too much to bear. All of them shielded their eyes from its glow. Felix and Alexa couldn't withstand it either. 

Felix had his eyes closed, and he felt Mercedes getting pulled away from him. He couldn't see through the light, and it was causing him to panic.
