Isadora was sitting in her office, lamenting about her life. She might seem like she is put together and has everything under control, but only she knew the truth. She was far from it. She had cracks as well that she desperately wanted to hide. All her life she has been focused on one thing: success and power. With all that, she didn't have time for anything else. So, when she found Yuna, she thought it to be a blessing at first. Without anyone in her life, she was certain she would never again know the warmth of having a family. Only Yuna could fill the gap and become her family.

Isadora tried her best to become a mother, but she lacked a maternal instinct and couldn't become a proper mother. She was too harsh on her, so their relationship was void of affection. She didn't treat Yuna like a daughter but more like a student. Isadora realized her shortcomings, but she wanted Yuna not to know her affection and warmth because the world was a harsh place.
