Chapter 72

No matter how many times Alexa asked, the entity would keep chanting the same thing. “A life is owed, and I have come to collect.” That was starting to get on her last nerve. Getting angry and losing her cool wasn't going to help the situation, so she stopped and thought of an idea. One idea finally came to mind. A life was owed. That is why the entity was after Alpha Logan's life. The only way to gain its attention was to try and bargain with it. Force was not going to work against it, and she couldn't attack it since it was cloaking its presence.

“Alright. I give in, okay. I admit it. I can't save the Alpha from you, so let me ask you. A life is owed, and you have come to collect it. Who has promised you Alpha Logan's life and why must you take it?”

The room fell silent, and the entity stopped moving around.

“I was promised a life and I have come to collect it.”
