Chapter 99
Felix jolted up from his sleep for the third time. Horace was crying. He could hear him through the baby monitor. He had just put him to sleep again an hour ago, yet he was awake again. Felix was extremely exhausted between juggling being a father and training the warriors in his pack. He was a father to a small baby, but he could no longer set aside his duties when war was looming over them. They needed to be ready and prepared to defend and protect. Felix and Jake took turns overseeing the training and management of the pack. Sometimes, baby duty would be left to Crystal, but it was too much to have two babies by herself. As first-time parents, it was really hard to get the hang of it.
