Chapter 23

Diane’s POV

I really can’t believe what I was hearing and it was like she wasn’t lying either.

“Come take a look, the mistress and the housekeeper is there. Come and look at everything!” Bianca said with a shaking voice and I sensed the urgency in her voice.

She looks like she has just seen the unspeakable and maybe a ghost. I thought about it and all I saw coming was nothing but danger.

Without thinking twice, I rushed out with her and we headed straight to the room.

The door was open but I stopped two steps away from the door. I could hear voices and most especially the manipulative voice of the wicked housekeeper, Lady Han.

Bianca held my arm and nodded. “We have got to do this!” she said and I encouraged myself to face my bad luck in the morning.

I was shocked when I walked in, the room was nothing but a children’s playground at the moment. All my labor was on the floor, broken and smashed like they were contrabands.
