It’s several nail-biting days before the scouts return with the newest information on the invasion of Shadowglade. Rafe took to pacing and planning rather than jumping in bed with me–most of the time. As we feel our return to Shadowmanor Castle fast approaching, we’ve become more weighed down by the shackles of rulership.
