Chapter 105. Outside

Daemon’s POV

I got worried and walked toward the latrine. I pushed the door open and noticed that she was not there. I went to the closet, and she was not there, either.

I panicked, where could she be by this time of the night? But her guards are out there which means that she might be here somewhere… But where? I spun around to scan the room and suddenly I felt the cold wind hit my face, it was chilling outside and the window was open.

Wait! The window is open, I look in that direction and something got my attention, a rope tied at the edge of the window. I hope my mind is not playing tricks on me… I hope this is not what I am thinking.

I strode toward the window and saw that the rope fell out from the inside to the outside almost above the ground.
