Rhea’s POV
“No, I can’t leave my husband and pack and follow you, King Daemon,” I barely said two words when his cold eyes fell on me, causing me to swallow the rest of the words.
His eyebrow dropped, displeased, “Don’t make it harder, Rhea.”
Walking up, he suddenly pulled me toward him and the next thing I noticed was my legs hanging above the ground and my body tossed all over a strong muscular body.
“Just let me down,” I yelled at him, he didn’t say a word and continued where he was going.
This is so shameful, how on earth can he carry me on his shoulder in front of the whole crowd? This is ridiculous. But Daemon doesn’t even seem bothered by the stares but rather, he looks bored.
As I was carried out of the place, my gaze locked with that of Mercy once again. She looks scared as she watches me leave, though she nods encouragingly at me.
Pity! That’s definitely not what I wanted right now.
