Chapter 173. I Couldn’t Have Done It

“Alexa, thank you for your help,” Hector said, during dinner. “I was able to meet with heads of the clans of witches and vampire.”

“Did it go well?” she asked, trying to avoid looking at Henry. She had looked up twice now, only to find him staring at her and it was annoying.

“It did,” Hector answered. “and they all agreed that was the tight decision!” Then looking round at all the faces at the table, he announced, excitedly like a little child, “They are ready to end this feud as we are!”

“That’s great news!” Clementine said. Spark nodded in approval. All smiled, their faces happy

Andrew looked at Clementine and not for the first time, regretted listening to his father. He was very happy now about the pact the three species and clans were going to make publicly. If the witches and werewolves had been in good terms, then maybe, he would have sought help from one long ago and wouldn’t have had to attempt killing his wife and son. He had tried that afternoon to
