Chapter 61. I Wish…

They entered the cottage and Alexa say down in a couch, deep in thought.

“I’ll get us drinks,” Hector said, going to the kitchen where the freezer was kept.

‘Lionel was the same age as Landon and Leigh. That meant that Camellia had met and mated with the Lycan king, almost the same time as her drugged one-night stand,’ Alexa thought. Then prayed Hector doesn’t find out that she had children. Or had Lionel already told him?

Hector was also deep in thought as he got the drinks. He recalled how close Lionel was with Alexa. He had never been so close to Camellia that way and Camellia herself had never been affectionate with Lionel the way Alexa seem to be.

Affection and compassion seem to come naturally from her. He wished it was Alexa and not Camellia who was the mother of his son and not for the first time, he wished Alexa had been the one with him that night and not her sister. How did their fate become twisted this way?
