Chapter 65. Your Powers Was Sealed for Your Safety

Alexa hurried to her destination. Tomorrow she was going to go to work. She had to find out what that wizard knew of her and her mother.

As she neared the place, a sense of peace enveloped her. She had always felt peace anytime she was here, even when she was much younger and would come here to seek solace from the dislike she felt from her mother, who she had recently found out was actually her stepmother.

“I knew you would be back!” the white-haired wizard said as he opened the door before Alexa could knock, and she wondered again how he could feel comfortable in a forest all alone.

She entered and found that she was mistaken because he was not alone but had a beautiful maiden with him. ‘Could they be married or engaged?’ she thought to herself in amusement.

The beautiful girl would definitely be a witch, she surmised.
