Chapter 9. Five Years Later…

A very beautiful and successful looking Alexa stepped out of the plane and the airport taxi conveyed her to the hotel that had already been booked for her. Her two children, Landon and Leigh by her side, chatting excitedly.

“Mum, hope you have brought us back to see our father?” Landon asked.

‘Not again,’ Alexa thought miserably. How was she going to tell her pups she did not know who their father was? It was true that she had regained some of her memory but there was still a lot of blank spaces. She had actually come back because she sought answers herself. She prayed the Moon Goddess would direct her on the right part.

“I have come to see if I can find him,” she replied. “Remember, I have not fully recovered from my illness. But as soon as I find him, he has no option but to accept you!”
