Eden dragged me into the elevator, and I followed like a docile sheep to its fate.
I had little choice. In my haste to provide her with a great life, I kept secrets from her that were now blowing up in my face. And I have nothing to help me out of this situation other than submitting to her.
When the elevator doors slid closed, she grabbed my tie and drew me nearer to her.
