I applaud his outstanding re-entrance into the Kingdom, the surprise he had for us was perfectly on target. We must undoubtedly give him special recognition for this. His timing was perfect, as was Vashti's arrival here. Cleverly programmed.

Behind me, I heard Harad walking towards me as the Queen grasped Eden by the hand and led her away. My eyes were glued to Eon who was now standing confidently with wide legs next to Vashti, their hands interlocked. To me, this was confirmation that these two had known each other for quite some time and had an ominous plan in motion.

“Eon, I won't pretend to be excited to see you again. However, the invitation to my mating ceremony was extended to everyone. Take your place among the guests and join us in celebrating. As far as the matter between you and Vashti is concerned, that will be settled in a family context,” I explained as politely as possible.
