Abandoned Warehouse

Alejandro took a long drag from his cigarette, the nicotine coursing through his veins as he waited patiently for Maria to arrive. He hadn't wanted to agree to meet her, but her text had sounded urgent, and his curiosity had gotten the better of him.

He had a lot of dealings to attend to today, and meeting Maria in this abandoned warehouse where he just killed someone was the only fast way to speak to her except she had plans to wait till tomorrow which Maria didn't. 

As he leaned against the wall, he couldn't help but think about how much his life had changed in the past few weeks. He had gone from falling in love and admitting his love to realizing that it was all for nothing. 

A car pulled up slowly and Alejandro straightened up, taking one last drag from his cigarette before flicking it to the ground and crushing it with his shoe.
