KIERA STEVENS’S POV

His voice kept rising, earning the attention of the passersby. I was dumbstruck to hear the familiar voice. Walking near the window, I saw Jasper with a whiskey bottle in his hand. His hair was disheveled, buttons of his rich suit were undone.

What the fuck was he doing in front of my apartment?

He didn’t stop there. The following moment, he began to yell those words out incoherently,

“Kiera… I… I… still love… you… please… forgive me…”

Fuck… I wished that I could slap his face hard so that he would stop blabbering. One problem was already inside my house but there, another one was already standing. I didn’t even know what happened to him on the last day, Anastasia came to confront me, telling me that I was seducing him. It looked like Jasper was still holding on to the past.
