AZRAEL DE LUCA’S POV

“Sweetheart! Do you want something?” It was Cassendra who had been trying hard to coax my moody son. He had been playing with his food ever since we came into this mansion for this so-called family dinner. Officially, my grandfather was announcing that the Mitchells were now a part of Luca’s family.

Ryan wasn’t okay with coming here without his mother. In the end, I had to force him to come here but he turned cold like ice.

What else could I do?

According to his mother, I was a monster and could do anything. It was better that we stayed like this in our own worlds like strangers. Some of her last words were still killing me.

It was surprising to see Cassendra so calm and neutral. I was sure that she heard us in the store but didn’t utter a single word probably because of her wise father. They came all together, Cassendra’s two elder brothers, Kelvin Mitchell and Neil Mitchell, next to them their father, R
