Luca stared at me for a while, finally broke the silence,

“The brotherhood is against me now, Kiera. Ryan isn’t safe any longer. They are turning a threat to me, to my position even now grandpa… so…”

“So???” I asked back, anticipating what he was going to say actually.

His voice turned out like a whisper as I swallowed before saying,

“I am going to marry Cassendra tomorrow. I am here to say goodbye to us.”
