KIERA STEVENS’S POV

“What do you want from me?” I asked coldly, stepping out of the room to find Jasper, standing a few feet away. He looked more vulnerable than other times. His face had a growing beard. He looked like aged overnight.

I didn’t wish to meet him. After what he had done to Anastasia, I felt disgusted with him. For the sake of our past relationship, I decided to let him talk to me for once. He seemed happy too after I appeared in front of him.

I stayed in a remarkable distance, and wanted to call it off as early as possible. Jasper muttered, watching me closely,

“You are really here. I didn’t expect you to come.”

I ignored his fake concern and repeated my question again,

“What do you want Jasper? Anastasia doesn’t work here anymore. I really don’t have time to gossip with you here.”

He stayed silent for a second but the next moment, he surprised me with his question,

“Are you really dating Mr. Luca?”
