AZRAEL DE LUCA’S POV

“Kiera! Everyone is waiting for you! Why aren’t you coming out!” I spoke to her in my gentlest voice that I could muster up at that moment.

Kiera stood by the window silently. Mr. Stevens body was brought back to the house. The funeral arrangements were done. Everyone was waiting for her arrival only. I didn’t dare to approach her as she was too quiet ever since she returned from the hospital.

When she didn’t give any answer, I tiptoed over to hold her but she threw my hands off as soon as I touched her,

“Don’t!!”

Her voice sounded like a cold whisper. Turning around, she stood facing me, tears pouring from her eyes. She muttered in a deadly whisper,

“It’s all your fault!”

I swallowed the lump in my throat. I almost predicted this to happen but it was too fast. I tried to comfort her,

“Kiera… I… really tried… I didn’t know…”

“IT’S ALL YOUR FAULT, LUCA! I WISH THAT YOU NEVER APPEARED IN MY LIFE!” Kiera shoute
