“You’re joking, right? Kathryn, tell me this is a prank and that you don’t really mean what you’re saying to me now.” He told her, and she chuckled slightly.

“I wish I could, Daniel, but maybe that’s the best thing for us to do right now. I don’t think I can continue to stay here. For now at least.” She told him as tears streamed down her cheeks.

He stared at her, and she kept on looking behind her. He was confused, what could he wrong with her? Why was she always looking behind her now?

“Are you trying to tell me something, Kathryn?” He asked her, and she rolled her eyes.

“I’ve said all I need to say. I’ll go get packing now.” She told him, and turned to leave when he held on to her hand.

“You can not just leave like that. Alright, give me a few days, I’ll convince you to stay. It’s because of me, right? I’m the reason you want to leave. I’ll change, I promise I will.” He told her, and this time, the tears streamed down her cheeks more uncontrollably.<
