Carter quickly steps in, his voice calm but firm. “Hey, kids, your mom is just acting out a scene for her social media. It’s all pretend. She’s not really going to hurt anyone.”
Dwayne and Zayne exchange confused looks, but Carter’s soothing tone seems to calm them. “Why don’t we go grab some ice cream? We’ll let Mom finish her video.”
