Jacob and the others hadn’t arrived yet. It would probably take them some time.
After all, Liam had been in a hurry earlier and had driven quickly. Besides, he had instructed Jacob and his team to keep their distance to avoid any complications if the kidnappers noticed them.
Liam took out his phone and checked it, then made another call to Hart.
But the policewoman’s phone was still off. Liam gave up hope, realizing he couldn’t rely on her today.
Taking a deep breath, Liam walked up to the warehouse door and pushed it open.
He wasn’t a cop here to rescue hostages. He was a father, with a million in hand, ready to ransom his daughter. There was no need for him to sneak in through a back door or window; walking in openly was enough.
