Chapter 126. A Trainer Chosen
Maddox had everyone in the car now, and they were on their way to the chambers. There was a conversation going on at the back of the vehicle between the beta and his mother, but he was not really paying attention.
If anything, he was deep in thought. He couldn’t help worrying about the fact that his mother might not clean. He did not want the woman suffering any more than she had already. He did not want to wake up one day to find out about an overdose or anything.
He needed to have this conversation with her. He knew that she was struggling with a lot of demons in her head, but he also knew that she was strong and could break free. He trusted her.
She just needed to trust herself as well.
