Chapter 140. Finding Sleep

The words of the alpha echoed in the omega’s ears over and over, and hearing them made her feel like she was levitating. She could not believe that he was saying them, and it made her panic a bit.

She sniffled dryly as she took a step back. “I–”“You don’t have to say anything back,” He replied, his smile never leaving his lips. And gosh, the way he looked at her. It was clear that he meant the words he had said; that he really did love and care about her.

She then watched him walk out of the room, leaving her alone once again. But the difference was that this time, she was hot for him. This time, she wanted his hands all over her body.

Her love language was physical touch, so she could not stop playing in her head what had happened in the room just a few minutes ago.

Breathing out a shaky breath, she tried to get back into the real world. She needed sleep. She had a busy day ahead of her. And not just a busy one, but a
