Chapter 117. I’m Hypersexual
June POV
After he finishes feeding me, he tucks me in, his movements careful, and soothing.
“Get some rest,” he says softly. “You’ll feel better when you wake up.”
I nod weakly and close my eyes. But my mind doesn’t stop spinning.
It’s nobody.
That’s what he said. Just two words, yet they echo in my skull.
Minutes pass. The silence thickens. Then I hear his footsteps returning. Slow and careful. My body stiffens instinctively, but I keep my eyes shut, pretending to be asleep.
The mattress dips beside me, and I know—he’s there. Inches away.
Even with my eyes closed, I can feel his gaze on me. Then his fingers move, brushing a strand of hair away from my face, tucking it gently behind my ear.
My breath catches.
He doesn’t say anything. The only sound is his steady breathing, calm and deep, like he’s fighting something inside. Then, unexpectedly, he pulls me closer—slowly, carefully—until my head rests against his chest
