As they approached Bridgeport town, a smile finally appeared on Dempsey's face, feeling that he had not let his host down by bringing the treasure back.

"Agreed!"

Theophilus nodded and followed Dempsey to Bridgeport town. At this point, his knowledge about Pineview Preparatory was still very limited, and it was the right time to visit the Liles family to see if he could find any useful information.

Just a few steps into their journey, Theophilus suddenly stopped and said:

"Mr. Liles, it seems like your Liles family is in trouble!"

Dempsey had mentioned that Bridgeport town was the Liles family's domain, but now there were experts fighting inside, clearly indicating that the Liles family was facing trouble.

"What!"

Dempsey was momentarily stunned, then realized what was happening, apologized to Theophilus, and quickly ran towards the Jake family’s house.
