|| Savannah's POV ||

" God! Two months? Are you guys disowning me, Mom?", I barked through the speaker at my mom. My father and she went abroad for a week. But now, they were telling me that they couldn't come back for two months. It was already getting tense for me to live in Ares's house every day. I mean, I was expecting to save my virginity before graduation.

My mom sounded sorry, her voice getting emotional,

" Oh honey, I wish that I could come back but you know how our job is. We can't leave everything unfinished here. Besides, you are all grown up now. Can't you manage this day?"

I rubbed my forehead to ease my anger. Indeed, I wasn't even a teen now, a grown-up adult and probably should learn to take responsibility. Leaving the discomfort aside, I assured faking a casual tone although it was annoying me badly,

" Okay, Mom. I will shift somewhere else to stay these days or call over Aria to our house."

" That's like my girl. I gotta go now, love.
