Their peel of laughter reached my ears, warming and coveting my broken heart. Somewhere, they reminded me of my family. I exhaled, smiling at the motherly chat that Mrs.Harrison was blabbering for an hour at least. Glad that I could always look for this family, Kasper's family. From sharing shirts with family, we were this close until his father was transferred to a different city. Then his training started and he got his time barely to look join our due visits. Kasper was the only reliable person that I could look for always after my heartbreak.

After I witnessed their kiss with my own fucking eyes, I ran away with pain and grief. This time, I wasn't angry but broken and completely shattered into pieces.

What could be worse than seeing the boy kissing another girl to whom you intend to propose?

Therefore, I didn't even look back and called for Kasper who was fortunately nearby in town. He went to pick me up without a single word.
