Stormy POV

It’s Alex’s birthday. He said all he wanted was to go drinking with his friends. There’s no way I’m letting that happen.

So I brought the drinks to our house and a few of our closest friends. I sent Alex on errands to keep him busy so I could decorate and get all the food going.

“Is Leiah not going to come?” Alma asked.

She cradled a glass of wine between her hands. All the girls had a glass of wine in their hands.

I wasn’t drinking tonight.

“She’s on her honeymoon! I didn’t expect her or Gareth to come,” I replied.

 “It’s been two weeks! My honeymoon wasn’t that long,” Emery said.

We all laughed. “You should take that up with Tristan,” I said.

“Trust me, he wouldn’t object to another honeymoon. The pack’s been quiet for the last month,” Emery added.

“Yeah, so has the Sanders pack,” Gabbie added.

Gabbie was Alex’s best friend, but I might have stolen her. I loved her children, and some
