Hera’s POV

We walked into our suite, hand-in-hand, looking forward to igniting the magic we shared. The last time we connected was in Lucania. It seemed a long time ago. I really missed him too much.

The moment he closed the door, my heartbeats sped up in anticipation. He slowly turned around to face me and my breath hitched at seeing the fire in his eyes. I knew he was burning for me just as I was. Slowly, he approached me while I stood rooted to the spot, ready to surrender to him.

He stopped inches from me, his gaze roaming over my features tenderly. “Let’s make memories, Hera! I want to resume where we left off. Will it hurt too much if we make love?” His fingers caressed my cheek, trailing down to my bottom lip.
