Leandros’s POV
King Iliad broke down, his demeanor changing totally from that of a tormentor to a victim. However, his tears failed to move the council.
“I was protecting my kingdom and my daughter from the evil tribrid king, Konstantin Barberis, of the kingdom of Vradeto, on Mount Tymphe. He has attacked us five times over the last two years. This time, he threatened to use unfair means if I didn’t surrender my kingdom and my daughter to him.”
While King Iliad wept bitterly, Alpha Alexios brought the order to the trial room. Everyone knew Alpha Konstantin and his exploits. The evil tribrid was number one on their list of fugitives for a long time and has been elusive for the last five years.
