After four years...

The flight landed in Yellowknife. I collected my luggage and looked around for my uncle. It had been four years since I left this city, but nothing seemed to have changed much here.

I hadn’t returned to Yellowknife in the last four years, since my term break always coincided with Hera’s birthday. My uncle always invited Zephyrus and his friends to celebrate Hera’s birthday, and I had no wish to face them, especially Leandros and his chosen mate. 

Therefore, it was better to stay away. The first few times, my uncle and Hera called me to coax me to come home, but I was adamant. As the years passed by, they gave up on me. I was fine with it, studying hard to prove myself.
