Zephyrus’ POV
I knocked on Hazel’s door as loudly as I could. It was impossible now to control my temper thinking about the males Lena might have met in my absence. Her defiance aroused a fierce wish inside me to punish her.
I knocked again. This time the sound echoed in the still night, waking up everyone all around. I didn’t care! The door flew open and Hazel stood there with a startled look on her face.
“Zeph? How did you return tonight?” My glance went to Lena, who emerged from a room to gape at me.
“Yes me. Did you think I wouldn’t find out what you’ve been up to in my absence?” I snarled with fury, my gaze stuck on my mate. It was strange how she held my gaze, not looking guilty at all.
“Find out what, Zeph? We have done nothing in your absence.” I held up my hand to stop Hazel. I wasn’t interested in listening to her excuses. She wasn’t bound to obey me, but Lena was.
“Lena, let’s go home.” She nodded and went inside to get
