“I’m not giving you an option, Danica. This is an order… From father. We all know you came here to get close to the Alpha. Why don’t you quit that overambitious dream of yours and know your place?” Joey continued, and honestly? Her mentioning that Father wanted me back instead of the encouragement and pride I had imagined hurts. It hurts bad but I didn’t let her see how much it affected me.
