Alexander’s POV

“Forgive me, Alpha! I didn’t think she was fit to be a doctor…” The confession got me doubled over in laughter.

“That was why? The reason you were hellbent on making her so miserable was because you think she isn’t fit?” I asked, laughing so hard that my jaw hurt.

Hell, it was all I could do to avoid the most tragic side of me right now.

“Tell me, Ivan, If your Luna isn’t fit to be a head doctor, who is then? You?” I asked and I saw her blink in shock as she shook her head quickly.

She was one tough woman. One of those I gave an aorta of respect to… Until now.

And right now, seeing her begging for her life gave me a satisfaction I never thought I’d feel.

“Forgive me, Alpha. Please!!! You can’t do this to me,” she yelled and I couldn’t help another fit of laughter.

“You were the sole reason, the root of Danica getting hurt. Tell me why the hell I should spare you when you never cared while risking her life.”
