Chapter 237. Afhany's Tasks
At every moment, Afhany glanced out of the lobby window to see if they were coming. It was useless, as she couldn't see anything in the misty air. She was anxious and afraid that someone would come looking for her, so she didn't think to use the device that helped her see in the cloudy air. It was all too risky. But she couldn't refuse her daughter's request, especially if it was to help a friend for whom she was very fond.
Suddenly, she was roused from her thoughts by a knock on the door. It was Mentor and Alfred. But Mentor knew he couldn't stay and, handing his father over so that Afhany could support him in silence, he left.
