Chapter 258. Louise's Fate

"We need you with Louise..."

He stood up.

"I saw when she was hurt. How is she?"

Deline looked at him expressionlessly. He hadn't sensed it from the tone of concern in her voice. She turned and opened a portal. Then she held out her hand to him and he accepted it, and they both entered the portal. What they didn't know was that Matheus and Moisés would follow them through the same portal.

Mentor arrived at the hospital. It was silent and cold, and he had a bad feeling about it. Deline let go of his hand and headed for a room, knowing that she was being followed by Mentor, Matheus and Moisés. When they got there, they saw Liane leaning on Ade and Louise hooked up to various instruments. Matheus ran up to her and took her hand, which was cold. He tried to call out to her, but Louise wouldn't answer. Moses approached and when he looked at her, she seemed to be asleep. He stared at Deline. She knew. Emotions were preventing the
